How do I add multiple pens to my pledge?

In case you want to get both the Kosmos ink Aluminium and Kosmos ink Titanium (or more) you simply add the pledge amount of the additional pen to your pledge: + €105 for KOSMOS ink Titanium + €55 for KOSMOS ink Aluminium

Examples: You want to get both the Kosmos ink Aluminium pen and Titanium pen: option 1) Pledge for the Kosmos ink Aluminium perk for €59 and add €105 for the Titanium pen = €164 + shipping fee. option 2) Pledge for the Kosmos ink Titanium perk for €109 and add €55 for the Aluminium pen = €164 + shipping fee.

You want to get one Titanium pen and two Aluminium pens: Pledge for the Kosmos ink Aluminium 2-Pack perk for €109 and add €105 for the Titanium pen = €214 + shipping fee.

You can make changes on your current pledge by clicking the “Manage your pledge” button and then “Change your pledge”.

You will select the variant and color of your pens that you’d like to get in the Backerkit survey after the campaign.

How do I select the color of my KOSMOS Pen?

Once the campaign has ended, we will send a Backerkit survey via email to you. In the survey you will select your desired color as well as provide your shipping address. You will be able to update your shipping address any time until we start fulfilling your order.

Which cartridges can I use?

Any International Standard Cartridges. Both short and long cartridges will work. Examples of good brands are:
⁃ Diamine ⁃ Pelikan ⁃ J. Herbin ⁃ Caran d’Ache ⁃ Faber Castell ⁃ Visconti ⁃ Waterman ⁃ Kaweco
DO NOT USE: Parker, Lamy, Pilot, Cross, Platinum, Aurora, Sailor cartridges or converters. These are proprietary standards and are NOT COMPATIBLE with your KOSMOS ink.

Which converter can I use?

Please note that the KOSMOS ink does not come with a converter.

You can use any International Standard converter. The converter that we offer within the campaign is the Schmidt K5 converter (same as the Faber Castell converter). You can use the following converters with your KOSMOS ink: ⁃ Schmidt K5 Converter
⁃ Faber Castell Converter
⁃ Generic, non-branded International Standard Converters should also work.
DO NOT USE: Parker, Lamy, Pilot, Cross, Platinum, Aurora, Sailor cartridges or converters. These are proprietary standards and are NOT COMPATIBLE with your KOSMOS ink.

How do I choose the nib size?

After the campaign has ended we will send you an email with the Backerkit survey.

Within this survey you will: • select the size of the nib that is pre-assembled with your KOSMOS ink • the nib size of any additional nibs that you added to your pledge • select the color of your KOSMOS ink Aluminium • select and add any other accessories to your order such as the pouch, the base or the converter • state your shipping address

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
